This new take on the 1967 drama GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER puts a comedic spin on interracial dating. Bernie Mac (THE BERNIE MAC SHOW) costars as Percy Jones, a wealthy black banker who has an overbearing love for his family. Percy is about to host a lavish party at his sprawling New Jersey home in celebration of his 25-year wedding anniversary to Marilyn (Judith Scott, FLIGHT PLAN). His daughter Theresa (Zoe Saldana, THE TERMINAL) is coming home for the occasion, wedding joke humor and she's bringing her new boyfriend, Simon Green (Ashton Kutcher, THAT 70S SHOW, PUNKAeD). Theresa has neglected to mention that her new beau is white, however, wedding joke humor and the formidable Percy is in for a surprise. Though Simon does everything in his power to impress his future father-in-law, nothing will make the imposing patriarch change his undermining disposition. Matters are further complicated because Simon has recently lost his job, wedding joke humor and he struggles to keep the family from finding out. As unrest spreads, causing tension--and plenty of laughs--in the days leading up to the party, Simon wedding joke humor and Theresa face uncertainty in their relationship while Percy wedding joke humor and Marilyn suffer difficulties of their own. GUESS WHO? is full of both hilarious wedding joke humor and cringe-worthy moments, including an incredibly tense scene where Simon is goaded into entertaining the family at dinner with black jokes. The sermonizing tone of the original film is replaced with an endearing slapstick humor, wedding joke humor and while the heartwarming family tale is present, the film doesn't shy away from the deeper underlying issues, presenting a fresh perspective on prescient cultural foibles. In KICKING & SCREAMING, funny man Will Ferrell`s (OLD SCHOOL, ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND OF RON BURGUNDY) humorous man-child antics meet actual kids on the soccer pitch. He plays vitamin salesman Phil Weston, a sensitive man easily capable of both crying wedding joke humor and sewing. Unfortunately for Phil, these qualities have never quite endeared him to his tough-as-nails father, Buck (Robert Duvall) who will stop at nothing to one-up Phil. He goes so far as benching Phil`s 10-year-old son--his own grandson--on the youth soccer team he coaches. Upon Phil`s begging to get his son more playing time, Buck trades his grandson to the last-place team, the Tigers. Not just any normal cellar-dwelling outfit, the Tigers feature a cast of lovable losers who prefer eating worms wedding joke humor and telling jokes to playing soccer. When the Tigers` coach leaves, putting the season on the line, an inexperienced Phil steps in to helm his son`s new team. With help from Buck`s neighbor wedding joke humor and rival, real-life football coach Mike Ditka--hilariously playing himself--the Tigers turn their season around. Fueled by a raging caffeine habit, Phil starts to overly obsess with beating Buck, losing sight of why he took the job in the first place--to be a better dad to his own son. Director Jesse Dylan (AMERICAN WEDDING) is a natural for the storyline, being famed musician Bob Dylan`s son. Farrell, for once, is content to play straight arrow to the crazy tykes in the first half of the film, before he unleashes his trademark zaniness in the latter half.
